Make a difference and be a part of the Life Time Miami Marathon experience with our events family.
Join the Team
It takes over 2,500 volunteers to run the Life Time Miami Marathon & Half and its associated events. To be on the team, sign up as an individual or group and help out with everything from Race Kit Pickup at the Expo, fill in as course spotters, provide water to runners at aid stations, distribute finisher medals and assist in many other areas that are vital to make this event come to life.

Community Fun Zone Challenge
The Community Fun Zone Challenge is designed to encourage spectator and community participation in the Life Time Miami Marathon and Half. There are five Fun Zones along the 26.2-mile course, each run by a different group or organization. The goal for the Fun Zones is to form a foundation to build an event that involves, engages and gives back to the community.
Omni Cheer Zone
The Omni Station Cheering Zone is located at mile 11 and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.to cheer on both marathon and half marathon runners alike. At the cheering zone you will be able to customize signs for your favorite runner, grab noise makers to “turbo boost” runners to the finish line, use pace bands to estimate the time your runner will run by the Cheering Zone and enjoy live entertainment to keep you dancing in the streets and cheering for joy while you wait for your runner.
Location: NE 15th St. and Biscayne Blvd.
From downtown take the Metromover’s Omni loop to Omni Station. Exit the train and you are there (approximately a 5 minute ride).
Remember to bring:
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Bright, colorful clothing (preferably orange)
• Camera for that special moment
• Reliable watch to keep track of the race
